GALILEO celebrated its fifteenth birthday in 2010! Fans of GALILEO submitted, yes, fans, to proclaim what GALILEO meant to them. Take a look and all the fans and feel free to submit your own. A new Discovery search replaced federated search, giving users better relevancy and refining features in 2012. The Digital Library of Georgia partnered with the Digital Public Library of America, becoming one of seven hubs of information in 2012. The GALILEO Elementary website debuted in 2013 after much target-user testing and input. The New Georgia Encyclopedia and GeorgiaInfo boasted major new redesigns in 2013/2014. Affordable Learning Georgia, an initiative to promote student success by providing affordable textbook alternatives, got off to a great start in 2014.
