Eugenia Abbey, who works in the library at Georgia Perimeter College, tells us, “As a college librarian I see daily what a really big difference GALILEO makes for the students. I finished college and grad school before the advent of online databases so I know very well what it was like before!! We couldn’t function without GALILEO!! If we had to rely on the printed indexes and other print material everything would grind to a halt. There aren’t enough hours in the week or volumes of printed reference materials to supply the needs of our students!! We would lose many students out of frustration and the level of education and training in Georgia would decline significantly!”
