Governor Sonny Perdue proclaimed that March 10, 2010 is Library Day in Georgia. In his proclamation, Perdue recognizes the many benefits that libraries bring to Georgia, as well as the “unparalleled access to information and materials through the nationally-recognized and award-winning GALILEO and PINES resource-sharing programs.”
