Description

In 2006, GALILEO won the WebFeat President’s Awards for Innovation for top multi-library networks. This award recognizes innovation in design and function in the systems of WebFeat clients. Merryll Penson accepted the award on behalf of GALILEO at a special ceremony held at the ALA Midwinter Meeting in San Antonio, Texas. During the ceremony, WebFeat President Todd Miller remarked, “…the 384-library GALILEO system has raised the bar for what a multi-library network federated search implementation can be.” Read more in the WebFeat news release.
